Hello! It feels like so long since I've been to Gather! We've been in TX for almost two months are now settling into our own place. My internet got hooked up today so here I am!
We are liking Texas, not even minding the extreme heat. I can get all over the little area we're in now and know the way to the airport like the back of my hand. The boys start school on Thursday (should have been yesterday but we had to wait on some paperwork). They're excited.
We like our new house. We're renting for a year before we lay down more permanent roots and buy a house. We have a bit more space than we did before though so that's nice and I got a high efficiency w/d combo that I am IN LOVE WITH! (yes, I shouting. That's how awesome they are!)
The kids are adjusting well and making friends. They're looking forward to their grandparents visiting in Dec and their aunt and uncle coming in Feb. Kai is getting big. He's over 15lbs now!
I have three photo sessions set up so business is looking promising and Joel is still commuting to Denver all though the flight from here is shorter so he likes that.
All in all, we're good and enjoying our new life. :) I can't wait to catch up with all of you!

I've heard people talk about the tremendous savings they've realized from the high efficiency washers. One family had a holding tank instead of sewer or septic; the savings in pumping the holding tank alone paid for the washer in short order.
